2024 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Elite Eight National Championship

Hosted in conjunction with Missouri Western State University, St. Joseph is thrilled for the return of the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship “Elite 8” to Civic Arena for the second consecutive year. The country’s final eight teams converge on our city to compete for a National Championship! In addition to the games, many external events will be taking place throughout championship week. Quarterfinals – Monday, March 25, 2024
Session One:
12 PM – #3 Ferris State – 25-5 vs. #6 Tampa – 31-6 (Ferris State defeats Tampa 60-53)
2:30 PM – #2 Texas Woman’s – 32-4 vs. #7 Daemen – 23-7 (Texas Woman’s defeats Daemen 74-44)
Session Two:
6 PM – #1 Gannon – 35-2 vs. #8 Cal State San Marcos – 26-6 (Cal State San Marcos defeats Gannon 85-80 OT)
8:30 PM – #4 Georgia Southwestern – 29-3 vs. #5 Minnesota State – 29-5 (Minnesota State defeats Georgia Southwestern 93-88)
Semifinals – Wednesday, March 27, 2024
Session Three:
6 PM – Ferris State vs. Texas Woman’s
8:30 PM – Cal State San Marcos vs. Minnesota State
National Championship Game – Friday, March 29, 2024

Single Session Adult Ticket: $20 (good for any one session – two games)
Single Session Youth/Senior/Student Ticket: $10 (good for any one session – two games)
