For the fourth consecutive year, the St. Joseph Sports Commission is proud to host the MIAA Volleyball Championship at Civic Arena! Seven exciting matches will be played over three days to determine the champion and recipient of the automatic bid to the NCAA Central Region Tournament.
Action begins with four quarterfinal matches on Thursday, November 20 with the semifinals taking place on Friday, November 21 followed by the championship on Saturday, November 22. The complete tournament schedule is listed below.
Thursday, November 20 (Quarterfinals):
12:00 PM – #2 Missouri Western vs. #7 Pittsburg State – Pittsburg State wins 3-2
2:30 PM – #3 Washburn vs. #6 Central Missouri – Washburn wins 3-1
5:00 PM – #1 Nebraska-Kearney vs. #8 Fort Hays State – Nebraska-Kearney wins 3-1
7:30 PM – #4 Central Oklahoma vs. #5 Emporia State – Central Oklahoma wins 3-0
Friday, November 21 (Semifinals):
5:00 PM – #7 Pittsburg State vs. #3 Washburn – Washburn wins 3-1
7:30 PM – #1 Nebraska-Kearney vs. #4 Central Oklahoma – Nebraska-Kearney wins 3-0
Saturday, November 22:
6:00 PM – #1 Nebraska-Kearney vs. #3 Washburn – Nebraska-Kearney wins 3-0

Tickets prices are as follows:
All Tournament Pass: $30.00
Adults: $15.00 per day
Student/Youth: $10.00 per day
Children 4 and under: Free
Fans may purchase their tickets online at themiaa.com/tickets or buy at the Civic Arena Box Office beginning one hour prior to the first game each day.
